Educational qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of proven experience managing payroll for large teams (500+ employees), preferably in a multi-state environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Experience with e-Net payment execution is a must.
In-depth knowledge of Indian statutory compliance (PF, PT, ESIC, LWF) and payroll-related labour laws.
Experience in generating and presenting MIS reports and payroll analytics.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
Job Description
Process monthly payroll for 500+ employees using Excel with accuracy and timeliness.
Execute salary and related payments through e-Net banking platform.
Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements including PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, and other applicable labour laws across different states in India.
Maintain and update employee payroll records and ensure accurate deductions and reimbursements.
Generate periodic MIS reports, salary registers, variance reports, and reconciliation statements for internal and external audits.
Stay updated with changes in statutory laws and implement necessary changes in payroll processes.
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related queries.
Assist in audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of payroll-related files and communication.
Experience with payroll software/tools is a plus such as GreytHR.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
